UX team coordinator

  • Sant Cugat de Vallès, Spain

UX team coordinator

Job description

Nacar is a Strategic Design Agency based in Barcelona with an agile and international team of over 50 creative professionals. We work with all-size clients from across multiple sectors establishing solutions and product strategies that apply to Industrial, Digital, Brand and Service Design.

We would like to meet UX-professionals who decided to give their career a twist towards a managerial role. Initially, you will give support to a small team of UX- professionals, who work autonomously on different projects. You keep track of each team member's activities, making sure that they “do the right things” and on the right time. You facilitate activities to make our UXs grow professionally.

You are intrinsically motivated by great organization, team-performance and process-quality. You understand that this is a coordinator and facilitator role, not a designer or lead role. After an introduction period you feel at home in a complex organization, aligning with many people on all levels. You are emphatic, motivating, diplomatic, didactic, and you always find the path forward. Finally, you like to be part of the 15-nationalities community that is Nacar Design.

If this is you, then we would like you to apply by uploading your CV and answering a question.

You will

  • Work at our client’s premises
  • Report to Nacar’s management and to our client’s staff
  • Have recurring meetings with our UX researchers/designers and the client’s leads and staff
  • Maintain a record of upcoming projects, budgets, and each team member’s activity
  • Coach team members with the planning of their activities
  • Drive knowledge management and cross-team learning
  • Evaluate and redirect incoming requests
  • Design procedures and implement management tools.

We offer

  • An exciting work environment, formed by a multinational and one of Spain’s leading customer design agencies
  • Forming part of a creative, 15-nationalities, team
  • A market conform salary and benefit package

We expect

  • A degree in a human science or user centered design

  • Communication, negotiation, and didactic skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, Catalan is a pre
  • Knowledge and experience with agile methods is a pre
  • A valid work-permit, if you need this.
